Also there are plenty of good games on Sega. Rocket Knight Adventures was a really fun action platformer and Vectorman was pretty good too.

Nintendo just hit a jackpot with switch. Otherwise they only had heavy hitters in mario and pokemon. Rest all ip sold good enough but not bonkers like switch titles had. One of the super high reasons switch is so successful. They didn't had rely on mario and pokemon alone. Now every ip is doing bonkers numbers irrespective of the game or port quality.

DKC Return remaster should be a bare minimum. I hope they dont announce a 3D DK game yet as it will be held back by the current switch. Save that when they announce the Super Switch

Tim is correct about A Link To The Past. I'm waiting for a ALTTP remake with the Link's Awakening style since that game was released. But I agree Nintendo should save it to Switch 2!

The problem isn't that people aren't wishlisting games or retweeting marketing. The problem is there are far too many games and not enough time or money to go around. Wizard with a gun was a middling roguelike with gameplay elements cribbed from other games. With literally 50 games coming out across platforms every week, you have to stand out and having a wizard with a gub is not enough. The key is not for gamers to wishlist's stuff, its for devs to not make another mid copycat game to throw on the pile. Wishlisting, retweeting etc, is just delaying the inevitable. People are only going to buy so many games. If you got Galvanic's next game funded by wishlisting the hell out of WwG , someone else's game won't be funded. Then when Galvanic's next game is mid too, they'll just go out of business then. It may sound harsh but its just the reality of the world. It's a zero sum game. There is only so much money to go around. If 50,000 people want to start game dev studios, tens of thousands of those are going to go out of business

49:00 Not sure why people are still taking Jeff Grubb serious. He is pathological liar and he is almost always wrong. Demon Soul's Remake came as PS5 exclusive and came on 2020. Of course they were working on that game during big chunk of PS4 life time. Horizon Forbidden West came as cross gen on 2022. Of course Sony was working on that game during PS4 life time. Of course Nintendo started to work on Switch 2 titles in the mid gen of Switch. Maybe they worked on Mario Kart 9 during entire Switch 1 generation. Sony is most likely working on PS6 games currently. His statement is just brain dead.

I think Nintendo should evolve the F- Zero franchise. They could do a crossover with the Nintendo family of characters create a new F-Zero ala Mario kart, with a taste of Super Off Road. Upgrading your spaceship as you win matches creating the ultimate ship. I think this crossover could be pretty epic in a game changer. “Smashup Zero”

Luigi or Zelda which one do you kill off? You kill off Luigi at the end of one of his next game. Then you create a new Mario game and Mario is in search of Luigi’s murderer. Mario follows clues that Luigi left behind as to who the murderer could be along the way Mario discovers. He has another brother, Leonardo or Leo for short. It’s a me, Leo! Or Mario discovers along the way that he has twin brother and sisters Gio & Gia! Could be epic, and the start of some new franchises.

I will say that when it comes to these fanon wikis, I do think they need to be classified as which ones are fanon wikis and which one are canon wikis, as I do believe there are those that can create fan content and make pages for it, but both Google & Fandom (owner of Wikia) don't seem to care about that at all. I think it is unfair to call a Cease & Desist as they are ideas created by fans of a franchise after all, its like asking Nintendo to Cease & Desist actual fangames, which can also have their own fanon wikis too.

The answer to why not Galaxy 2 is that the Yoshi gameplay requires precision pointer controls. Something that couldn’t be solved in a quick port, requires more dev time to make it work

I think with the new volume of games casts and more predictions episodes, I think need to be more strict about structure. A lot of these start out really Freeform with people throw out things and have a conversation about, and then Tim will go through his list of specifics and have very duplicative conversations. This was almost 90 minutes and probably could have been like 45. I like the meandering conversations on some shows, but when you’re putting out a show every day and trying to keep people invested through all of these showcases, sometimes less is more

Guys, I cannot believe I need to say this, but it is NOT a random fanfic/parody/satire website's problem that Google is crawling everyone's websites (without permission) in order to avoid you clicking away from theirs. And it is especially not their problem that Google is so incompetent at this that they cannot figure out how to exclude sites that are known to be fictional. I don’t get the hate for Sunshine, a unique Mario game and love for the trashy ones like Odyssey and 64. Smh That game was more unique than both of them. Same thing with Galaxy, but aren’t held up on a pedestal like those are.

They mention Switch 2 slightly if they mention Metriod Prime 4, since that game will probably be on Switch and Switch 2, like BOTW was on WiiU and Switch.
